No war if Seiveright's worth it

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I believe that if there is evidence, strong evidence, of financial gains within the tourism industry, the funding of Delano Seiveright's travel well spent.

It seems that some of us are forgetting that in order to make money, you have to spend money. Ask how this was spent against what was gained is needed for accountability and transparency. Perhaps a model can come from this for future decision making.

We have seen results and it is paying off. Just like the almost $9 million, we see changes taking place, almost record-breaking arrivals and evident growth in several areas of the sector. Why can't we just say, well done?

I applaud those who continue to do their work.
