We need good role models

THE EDITOR, Sir:
Are good male role models a thing of the past? Growing up, I admired the eloquence, elegance and sheer excellence that many of the men who built this great nation had ingrained in their psyche. Men of integrity! Men of honour! Men of action!
This is a call for the men of this great nation to stand up as honourable, righteous brothers and do what is needed to help this 'likkle but tallawah' nation move forward.
The collective consciousness of our generation must inspire dreaming black boys to be proud of their melanin .
We must strive to be the change we want to see.
