Tony Becca’s deep grasp of the importance of cricket culture within Caribbean civilisation drove his devotion and commitment to the game.
His assessment of its men, women, and moments was always ethical, interesting, and insightful. Few citizens are prepared to dedicate a lifetime to a loved pastime. Tony won our deepest respect and admiration because his friends knew that his love of people transcended all else. For decades he was my brother.
