Wait until January to reopen schools

Published:Thursday | November 4, 2021 | 6:11 AM

THE EDITOR, Madam:

Schools may be open soon, giving way to face-to-face classes. But it highly depends on how many students are fully vaccinated. However, I am not in agreement for schools to open this year; wait until January 2022.

However, I must say this. If and when students return to school, we want better behaviour from them. There should be no loud noise, no foul language, etc., in public transport, or in public places.

School students ought to stop listening to dirty music and dirty lyrics (sadly, our leaders have not told them); and the girls must stop getting involved with men, at early ages. Students need to pray for safety, in their going out and coming in. And pray against kidnapping, instead of listening to nasty songs. You can die any time, so don’t play with fire.

Generally speaking, we all need to pray to God, for keeping us alive from COVID; to spare us from the onslaughts of COVID criminals.

Finally, the transportation system is in deep disarray, so what will happen when schools open? The Government needs to do something urgent.
