Don’t muddy the waters on Barita matter

THE EDITOR, Madam:

Why is Dr Michael Abrahams introducing class and class prejudice into the discussion? None of the players involved are from the old Jamaican plantocracy.

To ask why didn’t the Humphries family purchase the Barita entity when it was put up for sale, is assuming that they would have been able to purchase same entity for liquid cash or through some structured deal.

Don’t muddy the waters with any unwarranted suggestions or innuendos ... let’s assist with credible comments, since we were not present at any of the meetings before, during and after the transaction, if we are interested in a just outcome.
