Where are the new JUTC buses?

THE EDITOR, Madam:

For so long we have heard that the new JUTC buses are coming. This week, Transport Minister Daryl Vaz said on TVJ news that the buses would be ready the 16th of this month. Jamaican people would say, ‘Tom drunk but Tom nuh fool’. The next time we hear from the Government it will be another sad story. No wonder the voter turnout has been very low for the past years. There is no respect for the people who do not have their own transport. The Jamaican people deserve better than this. A country that does not have a good, viable public transport is not going anywhere.
