Dr Derrick Aarons (left) shares a jubilant moment with Professor Rainford Wilks, professor emeritus of epidemiology and former head of the Epidemiology Unit in the Tropical Medicine Research Institute. The two are Kingston College old boys, classmates and colleagues. Professor Wilks was a contributor to Dr Aarons’ empirical research in communications.
