Miss World 2021 will be held on December 16 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Jamaica’s Toni-Ann Singh, the only Miss World to reign for two consecutive years, will crown her successor at the event. Singh, who is now on the island, recently paid a courtesy call on Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport Olivia Grange. She was accompanied by Miss Jamaica World 2021, Khalia Hall. Grange tweeted that she “shared a wonderful evening with both ladies. Great things are in store for them.” The minister presented both ladies with copies of the RJRGLEANER Communications Group’s specially commissioned book, Jamaican Women of Distinction: Holding Up more than Half the Sky. It was produced in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, and the JN Bank. Miss World also took Miss Jamaica World to visit her ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ project, the Morant Bay Women’s Centre.
