Motorists will pay more to use the Mount Rosser toll road starting today.
The toll rate for Class one vehicle is now $360, up from $200.
Drivers of Class two vehicles will see their toll rate moving from $295 to $715.
The Class three toll rate has been increased by $75 to $1,075.
Meanwhile, the toll for motorbikes goes up by $10 to $180.
In applying for the toll increase, the Jamaica North South Highway Company Limited had said the adjustment was needed because of a significant increase in maintenance costs.
The Mount Rosser toll road, which connects St Catherine and St Ann, opened last year August.
