The Finance Minister Audley Shaw on Thursday made a budget blunder as he detailed his administration’s plan to increase the income tax threshold.
Shaw originally said the across-the-board income tax threshold would be $1 million (come July 1, 2016) but soon after, said it would be $1.275 million a year.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness immediately tweeted it too.
But Shaw has since corrected himself maintaining that the threshold will in fact be $1 million in the first phase and $1.5 million in the second phase come April 1, 2017.
The Prime Minister has also corrected his earlier tweet.
