Farmer sentenced to three years for stealing corn

A Clarendon farmer from Park Hall District has been sentenced to three years for praedial larceny.
Forty-nine-year-old Cecil Sharpe was sentenced when he appeared in the Chapelton parish court yesterday.
The court heard that Sharpe stole corn from a field in the community on December 22 last year.
He was later arrested and charged for the offence.
