Teen daughter of murdered Oaklands woman makes emotional outburst at Causwell's sentencing

The teen daughter of the woman killed by businessman Steven Causwell had an emotional breakdown in the Home Circuit Court a short while ago.
It came as Causwell's lead attorney, Jacqueline Samuels-Brown in addressing the court, submitted that his attempt to resuscitate his ex-girlfriend Nadia Mitchell on the day her body was found in the yard at her Oaklands Apartments complex showed how much respect he had for her.
"Respect?" Mitchell's 18-year-old daughter Imani Prendergast shouted from her seat inside the courtroom.

Her grandmother and other relatives tried frantically to silence her, but the teen would have none of it.
"Don't talk about respect when he is there beating my mother," she said before storming out of the courtroom, overcome with emotion.
Samuels-Brown continued her submission on Causwell's behalf, asserting: "I am almost certain that was contrived."
Causwell is to be sentenced shortly for the 2008 murder of Mitchell.
