Ganja and fuel seized in Hellshire, St Catherine

Police personnel assigned to the Marine and Narcotics Divisions yesterday seized a large quantity of ganja and fuel at Great Salt Pond, Hellshire in St Catherine.
The seizure was reportedly made during an operation between 11:50 yesterday morning and 5:50 in the afternoon.
The police say 34 bags of ganja weighing approximately 805 pounds and 31 15-gallon drums of fuel amounting to approximately 1,730 litres were found hidden in mangroves.
They say the ganja has an estimated street value of $4 million.
No one was arrested in connection with the find.
Yesterday’s discovery follows the seizure of 700 pounds of ganja in Great Pond Close in St Catherine on Tuesday.
