Scotiabank donates to Savanna-la-Mar hospital

What does an organisation do when it has received a gift of much-needed medical equipment but is unable to find the funds to clear them from the wharf? This was the plight of the Friends of the Savanna-la-Mar Hospital who reached out to Scotiabank for assistance to clear equipment sourced for the establishment of an ultrasound suite at the Savanna-la-Mar Hospital. The suite that will accommodate two donated machines in a retrofitted container will be the only one of its kind for the parish of Westmoreland, and is intended to improve the quality and delivery of health care for residents.
