Flash flood warning discontinued

The Flash Flood Warning for low-lying and flood-prone areas has been discontinued.

A flash flood watch, however, is now in effect for central and western parishes. 

The Metrological Service says a high pressure ridge is currently over the island.

As a result, the Met Office says isolated showers and possible thunderstorms are expected across sections of mainly central and western parishes through out today.
