UPDATE: Police Flying Squad sergeant shot dead in Stony Hill identified

The police sergeant found dead in Stony Hill, St Andrew this morning has been identified as detective sergeant Trevor Williams.
Williams was found with bullet wounds in the community of Bowden Hill.
He would have celebrated his 61st birthday on Christmas Day.
Head of the Corporate Communication Unit of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, says the car in which Williams' body was found was not registered to him.

Williams' licensed firearm is said to be missing.
