A technical from the National Works Agency (NWA) is set to tour sections of Portland today which have been ravaged by heavy rains.
The NWA says the team is tasked with generating solutions for dealing with the damage to infrastructure.
It says the team will accompany Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation Daryl Vaz on a tour of the damaged roadways.
The NWA says over thirty roadways in the parish were affected by rainfall during the period January 4 to 9.
At least one roadway, the Bourbon to Maidstone road, remains impassable.
The agency has placed the estimate of damage to infrastructure in Portland from the rains last week at $140 million.
