Sections of Spanish Town, St Catherine under curfew

The security forces have imposed a curfew in sections of Spanish Town in the St Catherine. 

The curfew began at 6 p.m. yesterday and will remain in effect until 6 p.m. tomorrow.

The boundaries of the curfew are:

NORTH – Along the Twickenham main road from Rio Cobre to Jones Avenue;

SOUTH – About 400 meters from Jones Avenue to Rio Cobre 

EAST – Along Jones Avenue from Twickenham main road; and

WEST- Along the Rio Cobre to the Twickenham main road;

During the hours of the curfew, all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
