Police revisit Brandon Murray murder scene in hunt for clues
Police detectives today revisited the scene of the murder of Clarendon businessman John Brandon Murray as they continue to search for clues into the killing.
Murray was murdered by unknown assailants Sunday afternoon at the Mayfair Hotel in St Andrew.
He was co-founder of the Sporting Central Academy and a partner in Murray's Fish and Jerk Hut in Clarendon.
The police say they are yet to identify any suspects in the brazen killing.
On Monday morning investigators conducted further interviews with people near the scene of the murder.
In the meantime, tributes have been flowing in memory of the businessman.
Sports Minister, Olivia 'Babsy' Grange, in a statement today expressed shock at Murray's gruesome passing.
"I believe he would have had so much more to contribute, were it not for his untimely passing. I hope those involved in his murder will be found and brought to justice swiftly," Grange said.
Central Clarendon Member of Parliament Mike Henry described Murray as a man "dedicated to the sport of football, especially at the developmental or youth levels".
