The National Water Commission (NWC) says its Hamilton Mountain Pumping Station in St Mary is out of operation because of a defective pump.

This has affected water supplied to residents of Hamilton Mountain.

The NWC says it is estimating that regular service will be restored on or before Thursday, July 5.

In the interim, water will be trucked to the affected area.
