Ganja seized at Kingston port

The police are reporting the seizure of $875,500 worth of ganja at the Port of Kingston.

No arrest was made in connection with the recovery.

The police say a team along with officers from the Contraband Enforcement Team of the Jamaica Customs Agency were on patrol on Monday when they discovered three duffle bags and a bolt cutter on the ground in the container yard.

They say the bags were searched and the team discovered a total of 175.1 pounds of ganja.
