Over 300 pounds of compressed ganja seized at St Catherine manufacturing company

The Narcotics Police in Bog Walk, St Catherine are probing an attempt to smuggle over 300 pounds of compressed ganja valued at $612,000 out of the island.
The police say the 153 parcels of compressed ganja weighing 382 pounds were disclosed at a manufacturing company yesterday afternoon.
The police report that about midday employees at the company were preparing a container for export when they discovered anomalies among some of the products.
Narcotics investigators were called in, the container searched and the drugs reportedly found.
The police say no one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
