The sentencing of Constable Collis 'Chucky' Brown, who was last month found guilty of three counts of murder, has been put off until January 3, 2019.

Today's sentencing was postponed as presiding judge Justice Vivene Harris said that aspects of the social inquiry and probation reports needed to be tested.

Persons who contributed to the reports, such as probation officers and community members from Clarendon and Manchester, are expected to appear in court on the day of sentencing.

Brown was convicted on charges stemming from the 2009 murder of Damoy 'Gutty' Dawkins and the 2012 murders of Dwayne Douglas and Andrew Fearon in Clarendon.

Evidence was led in court that Brown shot and killed Dawkins along the Palmer's Cross main road in Clarendon on January 10, 2009.

He was also convicted of the fatal shooting of Douglas and Fearon along the Swansea main road in the parish on December 13, 2012.
