Two illegal guns seized in St James

The St James Police yesterday seized the first two illegal firearms since the start of the year.
According to reports, the two 9mm semi-automatic pistols, along with 58 rounds of ammunition, were seized during an operation in the community of Green Pond.
The police say no one was arrested.
A total of 95 illegal guns were seized in St James last year, 69 fewer than the previous year, police sources revealed.
The Freeport Police report that the two firearms and ammunition were found in an abandoned building during an operation.
