Trial of alleged Uchence gang members postponed

The trial of reputed gang leader Uchence Wilson and his 20 co-accused has been postponed until January 21.
The matter could not proceed today in the Home Circuit Court in downtown Kingston due to several issues including the lack of legal representation for some of the accused.
The accused are charged with breaches of the anti-gang legislation.
They were arrested in a major operation in December 2017.
Meanwhile, the court has set a case management hearing for Thursday.
