Bus driver shot during tussle with Spalding police, INDECOM launches probe

The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) is conducting a probe into the shooting of a bus driver by the police in Spalding, Clarendon this morning.
It is reported that a police sergeant was seizing the driver’s Toyota Coaster bus when an altercation developed.
Amateur videos show the bus driver getting out of his bus and engaging the sergeant.
The bus driver shoved the policeman and charged towards him when the cop pulled his firearm and fired shots.

Another policeman then rushed to the assistance of the sergeant and another shot was fired before the bus driver collapsed.
An angry crowd reportedly descended on the policeman who had to be rescued by colleagues.
The injured man was taken to hospital.
