Bodies found in vehicle on Trinidad highway
PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, CMC – Police are investigating the discovery of three bodies today in a vehicle on the Solomon Hochoy Highway, with gunshot wounds.
Police said that the vehicle was found on the south-bound shoulder of the major north-south highway on the island by a passer-by.
They said the male driver of the vehicle had been shot in the left side of the face, while the two women were also shot in the head.
The police said they have no motive for the killings, which have pushed the murder toll to more than 160 so far this year.
Meanwhile, police are also probing the death of Honore Ifill who was among five people shot while playing dominoes in Morvant, east of the capital last night.
Police said that two gunmen fired shots at the players, killing Ifill and injuring the other four.
No one has been arrested.
