Sagicor Bank merging Half-Way-Tree branches, staff being redeployed
Sagicor Bank is reporting that it is consolidating operations at its locations in Half-Way-Tree, St Andrew.
The branch located at 6c Constant Spring Road will be closed effective tomorrow Friday, August 13, with operations being transferred to the branch at Tropical Plaza, which is located at 12 ½ and 14 Constant Spring Road, starting on Monday, August 16.
Sagicor says team members at the Half-Way-Tree branch have been redeployed across the financial institution's branch network.
The company says the Half-Way-Tree branch will be retrofitted to become a full-service business resource centre, adding that the automated banking machine will remain open.
Chorvelle Johnson Cunningham, CEO of Sagicor Bank, said the consolidation is to boost efficiency and strengthen the company's operations.
“This strategic decision was contemplated extensively, and we believe the timing is now ideal based on the increased usage of electronic channels by our clients. We will maintain our exceptional level of service and continue to improve the lives of the people in the communities in which we operate,” she noted.
Johnson Cunningham assured that measures are in place to ensure a seamless transition for all stakeholders.
