Man charged for 2020 murder of St Andrew music producer
Detectives attached to the Constant Spring Police have charged a man for the 2020 murder of Park Lane, St Andrew music producer 35-year-old Oshane Jones.
The accused, 21-year-old Ryan Nelson, otherwise called 'Weddy, of Red Hills Road in St Andrew, was charged on Monday following a question and answer session in the presence of his attorney.
His court date is being finalised.
The police report that about 3:00 p.m. on January 31, 2020, the deceased man was riding his motorcycle along Whitehall Avenue in St Andrew when Nelson allegedly drove up beside him on a motorcycle, pulled a firearm from his waistband and shot him.
Following an investigation, Nelson was arrested on Monday, October 18.
He was subsequently charged.
