The case failed to be heard in court today.

A man accused of using a piece of iron to bludgeon another to death is set to reappear in the St Catherine Parish Court on November 8 when the matter will again be mentioned.

The case against Cyon Willocks, a 40-year-old labourer of Bog Walk, St Catherine, was postponed.

He is charged with the murder of Kevin Brown, otherwise called 'Bad Head', a 52-year-old construction worker, also of Bog Walk, St Catherine.

Allegations are that about 10 p.m. on September 2, the accused reportedly threatened Brown and then he allegedly used a piece of iron pipe to hit Brown on his head.

He collapsed.

Brown was subsequently taken to the Kingston Public Hospital, where he succumbed to injuries received.

An investigation was conducted by the Bog Walk police, which resulted in Willocks' arrest.

He was subsequently charged with Brown's death following a question-and-answer session.
