Five arrested in Old Harbour Bay following gun and ammunition seizure
Five people, including three juveniles, were arrested by the Old Harbour police in St Catherine following the seizure of three illegal guns.
It's reported that about 1:00 a.m. Sunday, the police were on duty in the Old Harbour Bay area when explosions were heard.
The team responded and intercepted a Toyota Probox motor car along the Old Harbour Bay main road.
One man reportedly ran from the vehicle and escaped.
During a search of the vehicle three loaded pistols were found.
The remaining five occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody pending further investigations.
