Jerk chicken vendor shot and killed at home

Forty-year-old jerk chicken vendor, Richard Roache, was shot and killed along Old Harbour Road, Spanish Town, St Catherine on Saturday night.
Roache was at his home about 9:00 p.m. when explosions were heard.
The police were summoned to the scene.
Roache was found lying face down in a pool of blood with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to his head.
He was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No motive has been established for the killing.
The Spanish Town Criminal Investigations Branch is probing the matter.
