Loaded gun seized on Molynes Road

A firearm and several rounds of ammunition were seized during a police operation on Molynes Road, St Andrew on Monday.
No one was arrested in relation to the seizure.
Reports from the Half-Way Tree police are that about 4 p.m., lawmen conducted an intelligence-led operation in the area where a premises was searched.
A Smith and Wesson .44 revolver loaded with three .44 cartridges was found in a garbage bin.
The weapon was seized.
However, no arrests were made in connection to the seizure.
Investigations are ongoing.
