Growth & Jobs | Empowering St Thomas youth

IN ST Thomas, a fresh cohort of 16 young adults have embarked on their journey as merchandising trainees under the guidance of the Desnoes & Geddes (D&G) Foundation’s ‘Learning For Life’ training programme. Partnering with the HEART/NSTA Trust, the Learning for Life initiative underscores the foundation’s steadfast commitment to nurturing skills development and empowerment among Jamaican youth.

The students convened at the LifeLong Learning & Education Centre, eagerly engaging with presentations delivered by the foundation’s instructors. Through these sessions, they gained valuable insights into government taxing systems, fostering positive workplace attitudes, and other indispensable life skills.
