Firearm and ammunition seized in Kingston

The police seized a Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol with a magazine containing five 9mm rounds of ammunition at a premises on Asquith Street in Kingston 12 today.
Reports from the Denham Town Police are that about 1:00 p.m., the team was on patrol in the area, when an open lot was searched. During the search the firearm was found in a garbage skip.
No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
Investigations continue.
