St James man charged after gun and ammunition allegedly found at his home
Thirty-three-year-old Arlando Henry, otherwise called 'Ted', of Ackee Tree Lane in Green Pond, St James, was charged with several firearm-related offences after a gun and ammunition were allegedly found at his home on Friday.
Henry was charged with four counts of possession of prohibited weapon, dealing in prohibited weapons, stockpiling prohibited weapons, and unauthorised use of premises for storage of firearms and ammunition.
About 12:20 p.m. on Friday, police were in Green Pond when a premises that was occupied by Henry was reportedly searched.
During the search, a Taurus G3C pistol and three magazines containing 50 rounds of ammunition were allegedly found under a couch in a bag.
Henry was subsequently taken into custody and was charged yesterday.
