Former councillor for the Moneague division in St Ann South East, the People's National Party's (PNP) Lloyd Garrick, says he is confident of regaining the seat he lost to the Jamaica Labour Party's (JLP) Leroy Kelly in 2016.

A divide in the ranks of the PNP saw an independent candidate entering the race, reducing Garrick's chances of retaining the seat at the time.

Today, Garrick told The Gleaner that he has done a lot of work over the past few years and the people have again called for him.
