Collen Gager returns as Mayor of Falmouth

Collen Gager, elected for his third term as councillor for the Warsop division for the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), was today returned as Mayor of Falmouth in the Trelawny Municipal Corporation.

Jonathan Bartley of the Wakefield division was elected deputy mayor.

Today's swearing in ceremony was held in the passageway of the municipal building due to the collapse of the upstairs ceiling.

Nine councillors who won their divisions in the recently concluded local government elections were sworn.

The JLP won the Trelawny Municipal Corporation 6-3.
