Police find gun and ammunition in Cedar Grove, Portmore

Police personnel attached to the St Catherine South Proactive Investigation Unit seized a firearm and several rounds of ammunition on Watson Boulevard in Cedar Grove, Portmore, St Catherine, on Saturday.
The police say about 5:20 p.m., they were patrolling the area which led to them searching an open lot.
The search yielded one Taurus Armas pistol loaded with a magazine containing four rounds of ammunition.
The weapon was subsequently seized.
No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
