St Elizabeth man charged with sex crimes involving 11-year-old

The police say the alleged incident took place between February 2023 and July 2023.

The St Elizabeth police have charged a man for the alleged buggery of an 11-year-old.

Damion Jones, otherwise called 'Potto', of Bernard Hill district in Pisgah, is also charged with grievous sexual assault and rape.

The police say the alleged incident took place between February 2023 and July 2023.

Head of the St Elizabeth Police, Acting Superintendent Coleridge Minto, stated that all offences reported to the police will be thoroughly investigated and suspects pursued.

Minto noted that several case reviews are being done, even on files for offences dating back several years.

He is encouraging residents of the parish to report all matters and to share any information they have to assist in investigations.
