Update | Victims of Portland crash are a man and his 6-y-o son
The police have released the names of the two people who died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash along the Fairy Hill main road in Portland on Monday night.
They are 53-year-old David Woolery, of a Zion Hill address, and his six-year-old son, Jaydan Woolery.
The police say about 10:18 p.m., the father was driving a grey Suzuki Swift along the Fairy Hill main road, when the driver of a red Toyota Corolla attempted to overtake his vehicle, resulting in a collision.
The father and his son and daughter, who were in the vehicle, were rushed to the Port Antonio hospital.
The father and son died while the daughter was admitted in critical, but stable condition.
The driver of the Corolla has reportedly been warned for prosecution.
