Another man killed in alleged shootout with police in Spanish Town

Another man has been shot and killed in an alleged confrontation with the police in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
He has been identified as Charles McDonald, otherwise called 'Chubs'.
It is reported that about 2 p.m., a police team went on an operation in Shelter Rock, Spanish Town, and encountered McDonald, who engaged them in a shootout.
During the exchange of fire, McDonald was hit. He was later pronounced dead at the Spanish Town Hospital.
The police say they seized a handgun in the incident.
The Independent Commission of Investigations has launched a probe into the matter.
