Family homeless after house set ablaze and fired on

A family is now homeless after men reportedly set fire to their house and opened gunfire while the occupants, including children, were inside along Airy Castle Road in St Andrew early Thursday morning.
The occupants managed to escape uninjured.
A crew from the Stony Hill Fire Station and the police responded and visited the scene about 1:20 a.m.
The police are probing whether the incident is connected to any of the ongoing violence currently plaguing communities in the St Andrew North police division.
There have been three murders in five days.
