Two guns seized in Westmoreland

The Westmoreland police seized two nine millimetre firearms in Geneva district in the parish on Tuesday.
The Savanna-la-Mar police say between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. lawmen carried out an operation in the area where a property was searched and the firearms discovered.
They say one of the guns was affixed with a magazine containing fifteen cartridges.
Investigations are ongoing.
