Police announce restrictions for Racers Grand Prix

The police are advising of restrictions for persons who will be attending the Racers Grand Prix at the National Stadium today.

They say no weapons, including firearms, selfie sticks, firecrackers, devices that can start fires and umbrellas with metal tips will not be allowed inside the venue.

The same applies to alcoholic beverages, large igloos, glass bottles, frozen water or drinks, and drugs.

Licensed firearm holders are advised to make arrangements for the safekeeping of their firearms, as no provisions will be made at the Stadium Police Station.

All persons entering the stadium will be subject to search.

Vending will not be tolerated outside the designated areas.

All persons are being reminded to comply with the instructions of the police, who will be working alongside contracted security officers to ensure the safety of all patrons attending the event.
