Police nab St Mary man wanted for murder
The St Mary police have apprehended 21-year-old Ronald Davis, otherwise called 'King,' who was wanted for a murder committed in 2023.
Davis was captured around 8:45 p.m., during a targeted operation conducted in Robins Bay, in the parish on Friday.
He was intercepted in a grey Toyota Fielder motor car, according to Wallace, acting Superintendent of police for the St Mary division, Anthony Wallace.
Wallace said the vehicle and its occupants were searched and a black Glock 19 pistol loaded with 16 rounds of 9mm ammunition was found.
"Davis was travelling with two men and a woman at the time of his arrest. All occupants were taken into custody and the vehicle was seized as investigations continue," said Wallace.
He alleged that Wallace is a member of the Forum Gang that operates out of the Dover district in Annotto Bay.
Davis was wanted for the murder of Odane Martin, committed on March 11, 2023 in the community of Iterboreale in Annotto Bay.
