One of two men found with car parts in Linstead gets $100,000 bail
One of two men charged in connection with the discovery of car parts at a premises in Linstead, St Catherine last week was today granted $100,000 bail with surety in the parish court.
Lionel Goffe, who was represented by attorney Stefan Mathews, has been charged with unlawful possession of property.
His co-accused, Shacquille Edwards, was remanded in custody.
The case has been set for mention on March 3.
Allegations are that on Friday, January 24, police conducted an intelligence-driven operation in Linstead.
During the operation, a search of a premises was carried out, leading to the discovery of a quantity of car parts.
Edwards and Goffe reportedly failed to provide a satisfactory account for the items and were subsequently arrested.
Following an investigation, both men were charged with unlawful possession of property.
