Dancehall entertainer Kiprich among several men listed as persons of interest by St Catherine police
Dancehall entertainer Kiprich, whose given name is Marlon Plunkett, is among several men named as persons of interest by the St Catherine North police this evening.
The police say the men are believed to be able to assist them in investigations into several incidents in the parish.
Being sought from 2B Oxford Road (Top Banks) and March Pen in Spanish Town are:
1. Dancehall artiste Marlon Plunkett, otherwise called ‘Kiprich’.
2. Damion Johnson otherwise called ‘Violence’.
3. Shevon Ulett otherwise called ‘Pitter’.
4. Carlos Fairweather otherwise called ‘Finger’.
5. Theodphilus Campbell otherwise called ‘Danga Reds’.
6. Romario Hobbs, otherwise called ‘Pops’.
7. Donovan Richards
8. Dave Richards otherwise called ‘Buro’
9. Alphanso McDonald otherwise called ‘Boo’.
10. Orville Buckner otherwise called ‘Will’.
And from the communities of Dela Vega City/Dallas Lane, being sought are:
1. Daniel Smith otherwise called ‘Fire’.
2. Cedric Brooks otherwise called ‘Sledge’.
3. Lorrel Morris otherwise called ‘Dan Dan’.
4. Dayone Shaw otherwise called ‘Ramus’.
5. Eric Miller otherwise called ‘Chinna’.
6. Jevaughn Blackstock otherwise called ‘Brandon’.
The men are being urged to turn themselves in immediately to the Spanish Town Police Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB).
Anyone with information on their whereabouts is being asked to contact the Spanish Town Police CIB at 876-984-2305 or 876-984-4490.
The police this evening imposed a curfew in sections of Spanish Town, including in the areas where the persons of interest live, amid violence earlier today.
This morning, angry residents mounted a roadblock near Okra Lane and Dela Vega City to protest the fatal shooting of two brothers by the police along the nearby Spanish Town Bypass on Thursday.
They claimed that the men were killed in cold blood.
However, police reported that the men fired at them first, leading to an exchange of gunfire.
Two firearms were allegedly recovered.
