Woman killed, man injured in Nutshell, St Catherine gun attack

A woman was shot dead and a man was injured after the car they were travelling in came under gunfire in Nutshell district, St Catherine last night.
The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old bartender Keneisha Bailey, otherwise called ‘Finey,’ of Main Street in Ewarton in the parish.
Reports are that around 11:45 p.m., Bailey was travelling in a motor car driven by the injured man.
Upon reaching near Nutshell Square, occupants of a Toyota Voxy motor vehicle opened fire on the vehicle, hitting both Bailey and the driver.
The vehicle was driven to the Linstead Hospital where Bailey succumbed to her injuries.
The man was admitted and later transferred to the Kingston Public Hospital.
