With the incidence of motorcycle crashes and deaths highest among young adults ages 20-24, the National Helmet Wearing Coalition (NHWC) made Dunoon Park Technical High School the fourth stop of its school tour recently, to educate the teens about the dangers of riding without certified headgear. The tour is a deliberate initiative to inculcate the importance of helmet use and road safety among students before they start operating motor vehicles. The NHWC is managed by the JN Foundation. Here Sydoney Preddie, project manager for road safety and road user education at the JN Foundation, engages the students in an activity.
